Want To Build an Fairy Village?

Did you enjoy my friend Lucy’s Whimsical Fairy House Challenge where for 12 days Lucy posted a different fairy house design? I was on vacation and away from my Cricut during most of the challenge so I haven’t yet had an opportunity to make more fairy houses. I can hardly wait to add more houses to my fairy village.

When Lucy asked me to design a fairy house for her Whimsical Fairy House Challenge, I decided that no fairy village was complete without at least one shop. So besides designing Viola Cottage, I also designed the Forest Fairy Bakery, which you can find in a bundle that Lucy is now offering for sale through her website called The Fairy House Collection – Fairy Houses for All Seasons. I have never participated in a collaboration like this before so I am quite excited!

The collection includes the files and instructions for the Forest Fairy Bakery, as well as 9 additional houses designed by Lucy that are also exclusive to the bundle. Also included in the Fairy House Collection are all of the files for each of the houses and variations that were released over the 12 days of the Whimsical Fairy House Challenge.

Lucy designed all of the elements of her houses to be interchangeable, with 3 main house designs which can be adapted for different holidays and seasons with the many variations she has included. By mixing elements from each of her 20 digital files, the number of unique fairy houses you can make becomes almost limitless! Though I designed both of my fairy houses to be stand-alone buildings, many of the elements Lucy includes in her digital files can also be used to create variations of my houses. All of these files are available as SVG and PDF files.

I already want to remake my Viola Cottage with small poinsettias, and my Forest Fairy Bakery with an oak leaf roof!
